Students
In British Columbia, all-day programs are Licensed as daycare. Children must be three years old when starting, with the exception of two children per group aged 30 to 35 months (if space is available). Toilet training is a major learning process, and children progress at their own natural pace. Initially, children do not need to be fully toilet trained but must be able to manage most aspects of toileting independently, and have a strong understanding of the process. Accidents happen and help is always there when needed. The teachers will guide the children through the process with the expectation that parents will support the same process at home.
All new children to this Facility will begin with a Gradual Entry during the first two weeks. Gradual Entry starts at one hour the first day and builds up every day following. Returning children may attend the entire class the first day.
